Placing an Order

All orders placed through the website shall be confirmed by email and telephone, if applicable. Orders will not be despatched for delivery until they are confirmed and payment in full has been received. All orders are subject to acceptance and stock availability. Colombine reserves the right to decline any order.

Order Processing

Colombine endeavours to have all confirmed paid orders despatched as swiftly as possible. However, orders placed after 4.00 pm will not be despatched until the following day Monday to Thursday and orders received after 12 noon Fridays may not be despatched until the following Monday (not including Bank Holidays).

Colombine makes every effort to ensure your order is delivered to you promptly and that presentation is to a high standard. We cannot however be held responsible for situations that may arise once your package is being handled by the courier.

Payments

Payments to Colombine will be handled externally by RBS WorldPay using their secure payment gateway technology. Colombine is committed to ensuring your payment options are both convenient and safe.

When placing an order, the customer has responsibility to ensure all details provided to Colombine are true, accurate and valid, that the customer is authorised to use the payment card, and that there are sufficient funds available to cover the cost of the purchase.

Colombine will not accept responsibility for fraudulent use of a credit/debit card. We shall, though, concede the information we have to interested parties, eg. the bank and the police.

Orders of a significant value or quantity may require additional verification between us, you and your bank.

Delivery

Colombine will despatch all orders using Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day which guarantees delivery to 99% of the UK by 1pm the next working day. A signature will be required upon receipt. All packages will be covered by Royal Mail insurance.

U.K. addresses. For orders below £30, we charge £2.95 and will send your item using Royal Mail First Class Registered delivery. For orders above £30, a charge of £4.95 will be applied and your items will be despatched via Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day. The correct postage amount will be automatically applied during checkout.

For EU customers we charge £10.00 for all packages.

For international customers we charge £15.00 for postage and packaging.

Customers are required to check their details as Colombine cannot be held responsible should a delivery be made to the wrong address because of any incorrect details we were given.

Products and Pricing

Colombine makes every effort to ensure all product images and descriptions are accurate. Product images will reproduce as accurate as possible the look of the product. We cannot guarantee however how our images appear for the end-user as we have no control over your display settings or on-screen colour reproduction. Prices, descriptions and images are subject to change without prior notification.

All prices are in British Pounds and include Value Added Tax. Should the rate of VAT change we reserve the right to adjust the price accordingly.
